The Y is a nonprofit organization committed to strengthening communities by connecting individuals to their potential, purpose, and each other. At the Henderson Family YMCA, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Through our Annual Campaign and fundraising events, we provide financial assistance to individuals in need, ensuring access to YMCA programs and services for those who meet financial guidelines and live or work in our service area.


How to Apply

If you are interested in applying for financial assistance, please:

  • Download the Financial Assistance Application packet
  • Collect the required documentation (Refer to the Financial Assistance Checklist on page 1 of the packet)
  • Submit the confidential application with all required supporting documentation to a Members Services

Once received, your application will be reviewed by our Financial Assistance Committee. The process takes 7-10 business days and only completed applications will be considered. For questions, contact Member Services at 252-438-2144.
