Welcome to the Y! We are an inclusive nonprofit organization of men, women, and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurture the potential of kids, promote healthy living, and foster a sense of social responsibility. The Y is a great place to improve your health, try new activities, and spend time with family and friends. Our community brings together people of all abilities, ages, ethnicities, financial circumstances, genders, races and religions.

Membership Dues
You are considered a member of this organization and responsible for all dues until you sign a cancellation form at the Member Services desk. Initial payment can be made by cash, check, money order, credit or debit card. You will be charged a service charge for any charge denied by your bank. Payment must then be made in cash or by money order in addition to the service charge. Membership privileges may be suspended until all bad debts are paid. A new joining fee will be required on all canceled accounts after sixty days.
IMPORTANT NOTE—Any changes to your banking/credit card information, including expiration dates, may affect your monthly draft and could result in a decline. Please notify us immediately if any changes occur.
There are several methods available to you to pay for your membership. You may choose to pay monthly by allowing us to draft either your checking account or your credit card account. Payroll deduction is also offered by local employers who choose to offer this employee benefit. Membership dues, joining fees, and program fees are subject to change.

Silver And Fit
Health plans offer the Silver&Fit program to eligible Medicare Advantage/Supplement beneficiaries and group retirees. It can help you improve the quality of your life. As a Silver & Fit member, you’ll get to work out more, meet new friends, and be more social.
Regular participation in Silver&Fit can help you build muscular strength, improve joint mobility and increase cardiovascular endurance, leading to improved health and greater independence.
Silver&Fit members at the Y receive the same membership benefits as our regular Y members.
Silver Sneakers and Renew Active
Silver Sneakers and Renew Active are health and fitness programs designed for adults 65+ that are included with many Medicare Plans. With your insurance reimbursement membership, you can enjoy membership access at participating locations. To sign up, stop by any participating location and let our team know that you're signing up for a Silver Sneakers or Renew Active. Please bring your healthcare provider ID card when you come in.
Corporate Wellness
The Henderson Family YMCA creates a healthy work environment for employees. With a variety of wellness opportunities partnering with the Y promotes a positive culture of health in the workplace, leading a healthier, happier, and more productive employees.
We offer a discount of approximately 15% off regular priced memberships. This special rate is through PAYROLL DEDUCTION ONLY. Available to any corporation with at least 5 employees or more.

First Responders
For those frontline workers who put their safety above others, we offer a discounted rate of 50% off regular priced memberships. We offer two types:
- Individual: Joining Fee $25 and Monthly Rate $24.25
- Family: Joining Fee $50 and Monthly Rate $33.50
This special rate is through MONTHLY DRAFT ONLY. Eligible - Firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, law enforcement officers, (city police, county deputies, highway patrol), 911 call center, Animal Control, NC Park rangers, Wildlife Commission officers, correctional officers. Not eligible - nurses, doctors.

Active Military
We welcome you as a complimentary guest! Active military persons may use the facility at no charge. Must present a military ID and be active duty, not guard or reserve. Questions contact Member Services staff 252-438-2144.
